About Us

Dobbin Enterprises began as a small distributor in 1982 dealing primarily with healthy and specialty type foods. We found ourselves located amidst a strong military consumer market in the Washington, D.C. area and learned from our clients there was an unmet need in commissaries for healthy and specialty foods. This is how we began selling these specialty products to our military customers through the Defense Commissary Agency. Today we still emphasize specialty foods with a strong seasonal holiday program with special treats available to the military shoppers only during designated promotional periods that make shopping experiences more exciting.

Our Operations

Nancy Conrad

President

As President of Dobbin Enterprises, Nancy is responsible for business development and brand management. She calls directly on DeCA Headquarters and coordinates product placement in store commissaries working with distributors, manufacturers, and store sales service representatives.

Natalie Perez

Vice President

Natalie is responsible for managing all business operation needs, and creating efficiencies and infastructure to support business development for Dobbin Enterprises.

Denise O'Leary

Distribution Specialist

Denise has been in the military food industry for 15 years. She spent six years managing accounts for military food brokers and moved to military food distribution in 2015. Supporting the military and their families has always been a motivating factor in her career.

Daniella Miranda

Administrative Assistant

Daniella helps keep things running smoothly by organizing supplier data, keeping information up to date, and making sure communication flows easily between teams, vendors, and customers. She supports daily operations by working closely with both internal staff and outside contacts. Her goal is to keep everything organized and efficient behind the scenes.

Heartland Military Sales

Andy Peeler is the owner and founder of Heartland Military Sales LLC. Andy has a wealth of experience, working in Safeway for 13 years and then as a military broker at Highplains Marketing for almost 30 years. Andy built long-standing relationships with store management for the last 36 years, and with this experience, started Heartland Military Sales in October of 2017. His goal is always to provide better service in the commissaries than competitors in his market area. Andy takes great pride in the accounts he represents, and most of all, he enjoys helping our most deserving military and retired military customers who shop the commissaries. Heartland Military Sales manages stores in the Oklahoma and San Antonio distribution areas.

Bluegrass Military Sales

Lee A. Lange is the owner and president of Bluegrass Military Sales, which has been operating since 2018. Lee has 4 years with Air Force Commissary Service (AFCOMS), and 30 years with military broker, Highplains Marketing Services, Inc. building relationships with commissary management. Lee manages stores in our Bloomington, Indiana distribution area.

Bavarian Enterprises

John J. O’Leary is the owner of Bavarian Enterprises, a brokerage firm specializing in the European military market. Bavarian Enterprises has sales representatives in all DeCA facilities in Europe. John brings 35 years of military sales to his team, and has used his experience and skills to increase sales and new items for all the companies he represents. Bavarian Enterprises manages all DeCA European commissaries.
